    Its weight alone, namely 5.5 kg, gives evidence of the high quality of manufacturing and a look at the rear panel will tell you how versatile this unit really is. Next to the decoded signal at the 5.1 outputs the following connections are available: coaxial digital out, RGB out, video out, optical digital out, S-video out plus·audio stereo out. Apart from all this, the SDV 1 is also an excellent CD player which employs a 24Bit/96kHz digital-to-analogue converter. Last but not least the unit is able to read and decode HDCDs and it goes without saying that any other CD format like CDR, CD-RW, etc. can also be decoded. Finish in two colours: black and silver.

    The newcomer from Vincent - the SDV-2 - is a DVD player with impressive imaging qualities and the ability to play back Progressive Scan. Apart from that this system is very fast when handling the silver disks. Other features are a SCART socket as well as menu guidance in German and an HDCD decoder chip for CDs.
