The TD 350 employs our newly developed Independent Double Damping (IDD) suspension system, which features independent dampening of horizontal and vertical vibrations. This, a platter weighing more than 9 lbs (over 4 kg) and an extremely low-friction bearing provide the exceptional smoothness and sonic stability you expect. The integrated stabilized control unit is responsible for the highly exact revolution speed. More details such as the ground high precision belt, the diamond-lathed platter with bitumen coating, the smooth and noiseless AC synchronous motor and the excellent tone arm TP 250 add to the amazing sound qualities of the TD 350.
The Acrylic Series continues our 100-year tradition of turntable construction. It combines our great experience with the latest manufacturing techniques to offer you outstanding performance and a unique design.
The TD 2030 never fails to surprise: the elaborate sandwich construction produces unrivalled sound quality. But that's not all: seen from above or from the side, the 1 1/4" thick acrylic chassis has a warm blue gleam, yet from the front it is clear and transparent.
A new 1 1/2" thick alloy turntable platter weighing over 14 lbs rotates in its proven silent-run bearing.
The already favorable properties of the acrylic are considerably enhanced by the sandwich construction of the chassis. It gives the 34 lb TD 2030 unparalleled stability and a sound completely free of resonance.

The absorption properties of the 1" thick polished acrylic chassis are already very good, but are further enhanced by solid, shock-absorbing feet. The 9 lb alloy platter is driven by a precision ground belt and backed with vibrationdampening material. The unit comes standard with a heightadjustable TP 250 tone arm.
The TD 850 is the product of the Thorens developers? passion for top-class technical performance. Its unique sound potential has been highly praised by the hi-fi press receiving the editors choice award with the Absolute Sound and recommended components with Stereophile magazine, both like the way it balances stable sound with strong musicality as a result of the perfect interaction of all the components. Its incomparable dampening is due to the extremely heavy sandwich construction of the chassis. Two thick wooden plates are flexibly bonded to a 1/2" steel plate. They give the 46.5 lb unit unparalleled stability and make it completely free of resonance. In addition to the high quality components of the 800 range turntables, the TD850 includes a 1" thick, 9 lb alloy platter, silent-run bearing, AC synchronous motor with external regulated drive controller, polymerdamped spike feet and a TP 300 tone arm.
The TD 810 delivers perfect, rich sound and precision. The styling is timelessly contemporary, like the TD 800. In contrast to the smaller model, a 3/16" steel plate is flexibly bonded to the wooden plate of the chassis of the TD 810. This completely absorbs all vibrations. To avoid any magnetic distortion of the audio signal, the steel plate is cut out around the pickup radius and tone arm base. The 1" thick, 9 lb alloy platter also contributes to the considerable overall weight of 26.5 lbs.
Like the TD 800, the TD 810 has an AC synchronous motor with external drive supply and a Thorens silent-run bearing, and it comes standard with the Thorens TP 250 tone arm and vertical tracking alignment system.
A 3/4" thick chassis made from highdensity wood forms the basis of the TD 800. Three height-adjustable and dampened feet effectively decouple and isolate the unit. The 6.5 lb alloy platter is belt-driven and vibration-dampened.
The TD 800 comes standard with a Thorens TP 250 tone arm with a vertical tracking alignment system that is fully adjustable to accommodate any phono cartridge.

The TD 700 comes with premounted tonearm and pickup cartridge so you can right away start listening to you favourite music
In any case the Thorens TD 240 keeps technically as well as sonically what its noble outfit is promising. This record player features a precision-ground belt, an electronically controlled D/C motor and comes equipped with the high-grade tonearm TP 21. Owing to the increased mass respectively weight of 18.7 lbs as well as to the suspended chassis, the entire drive system runs extraordinarily smooth and thus supporting the exemplary sound. The speed selector can be set to 33, 45 and 78 rpm and hence can be considered an interesting tool for all friends of vintage shellac records.
The TD 170-1 features an arm-lift and automatic return function, it can switch itself off an even play old 78 rpm records ? perfect for anyone with old shellac records amongst their collection.
The TD 170 phono is similar to the TD 170-1 but comes with an integrated phono pre-amp.
