The latest in Digital Audio Processing is built in with ProLogic IIx, Dolby Digital EX, DTS-ES, NEO:6 and Stereo 96. The MX135 is also the first to incorporate the state of the art Texas Instruments "Aureus" digital processing chip, which offers the fastest and most advanced DSP in the industry. The "Aureus" DSP is capable of 1200 million floating point operations per second assuring higher performance specifications and sound quality.
The MX135 includes a full-featured two-channel preamp with pure analog function including a phono preamp section. This embedded two channel preamp improves upon the performance of the most popular McIntosh two channel preamps in both distortion and signal-to-noise ratio.
An additional input is provided for the optional dealer-installed TM-1 Phase-Locked Loop AM/FM Tuner Module. A new event based learning remote control is included.

The MX119 is feature and value packed with 8 inputs all with analog audio and 6 with video. Any Composite or S-Video input can be up-converted to a component video signal via an internal video converter. 3 sets of component video inputs are provided and assignable to any input. All video inputs can be transcoded to component output.
Any Composite and/or S-Video Input can be up-converted to a Component Video Signal with the built-in Digital Video Processing Circuitry. There is also video switching for all three types of video signals.
The MX119 has the built-in ability to control a separate remote audio/video zone with program selection independent of Zone A, using a dedicated power amplifier and speakers. Interface the MX119 with the CR16 Remote Control System for 4 additional remote Audio/Video zones.
